Join me to learn how to safely use the "Cadillac" of yoga props,
the Rope Wall! You will learn how to practice the basic and not so
basic yoga poses safely, with intention and FUN! We will be using the
ropes to traction, elongate, support, extend, rotate, backbend, invert,
and more! Never fear, you will walk away wanting a set in your home to
practice with, although I will show you ways to work similarly without
the wall. Suitable for all students with at least 6 months of yoga
experience, and especially those with back issues and scoliosis. One of
my amazing take-home manuals will accompany the workshop! Return to your youth as we "hang out" on the ropes!

This class is designed for those with back issues (such as sciatica, scoliosis, disc, SI joint issues, lumbar, upper back, and neck aches) who want to improve their strength and flexibility to better support the spine. Yoga offers relief with the use of traction, props, and relaxation to alleviate pain and discomfort. Understand your anatomy, and how to improve alignment in the body, standing, sitting and lying down. Learn simple poses to relax tight muscles and to deepen breathing. All this will enhance your yoga practice in and out of the classroom.
