Personal Spine Assessment & Workshop
This one-day-only workshop is designed for students with scoliosis, a lateral curvature of the spine. Yoga poses offer relief with the use of traction, props and relaxation to alleviate pain and discomfort.
The focus of this workshop is on lengthening the spine, de-rotation of the curve and reducing compensatory patterns while standing, sitting and lying down. Learn to deepen your breath in all poses. DL will assess your spine curvature and map your curve, then apply her teachings to classic yoga poses adjusted for your specific curve pattern. All levels are welcome, from new yoga students to teachers.
